The Audio-Technica ATR6550 is a compact shotgun-style condenser microphone designed specifically for use with video cameras. Its dual-range design allows it to capture clear, intelligible dialogue both up close and at a distance. In Tele mode, the microphone focuses on distant sound sources while reducing ambient noise such as traffic, room reverberation, and mechanical vibration, making it well suited for video production, interviews, and field recording.
