2-Way 4.5-inch (114mm) Dolby Atmos® Surround Sound Loudspeaker - Pair

Designed and engineered at JBL's renowned Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, the 240H compact multi-purpose speaker is a versatile addition to the Stage 2 series. With a simple switch, it can be configured as a Dolby Atmos-enabled add-on or used as a wall-mounted elevation or surround loudspeaker. The 240H features a 2-way design, incorporating JBL's Next Generation patented High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide geometry, a 1-inch (25mm) anodized aluminum dome tweeter, and a 4.5-inch (114mm) polycellulose ribbed cone woofer.

Dolby Atmos® Height Module Compatibility

The 240H Dolby Atmos-enabled height modules utilize the same woofer and horn found in the 240B bookshelf model. They can be easily connected via binding posts located on the top back of both the Stage 280F and 260F floorstanding models, or used as surround channels that can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

4.5-inch (114mm) Polycellulose Ribbed Cone Woofer

Each speaker in the Stage 2 series features polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. This pure pulp cone has a proprietary blend of materials to enhance its rigidity, while the ribbed design pays homage to JBL's legendary heritage. These woofers deliver deep, precise, and room-filling bass.

1-inch (25mm) Anodized Aluminum Tweeter in a Next Generation HDI™ Waveguide

After thorough research on previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed an innovative geometry that improves directivity, minimizes diffraction, and ensures an overall neutral frequency response both on and off-axis. The Stage 2 HDI horn is paired with an anodized aluminum dome tweeter to maximize efficiency and dynamics, offering a balanced frequency response throughout.
