Only giving a 4 star as the item says it heats up a 1000 sq ft room but it does not heat up my kitchen/living room area which is approx. 1000 sq ft. However it is beautiful and has a great flame look to it. It has many options for changing flame color etc. I also like that it comes with crystals, rocks and wood log set so you can change up the look if you like. I do however wish it offered a longer warranty than 1 year or an extended warranty plan as it is expensive.
