what is the maximum space between the shelfs?

I'm looking at using 2 of the shelves for MacIntosh audio components.   One component is 10inches in height.  Will it fit on either the 2nd or 3rd shelve?  I prefer not to have it on the bottom shelf.  Are all the black risers of equal height?

The 10" macintosh will only fit on the bottom shelf
